"Junior Achievement Kazakhstan" will take part in the development of the textbook "Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship and Business"
The director of PF "Junior Achievement Kazakhstan", the trainer of the republican level on economic programs Aigul Kuzembaeva spoke about the peculiarities of teaching students the basics of entrepreneurship.

JA is one of the largest international educational non-profit associations whose main goal is the development and dissemination of programs for teaching students to the basics of economics and entrepreneurship through the partnership between business and education in accordance with the principles and standards of the international educational movement JA.
"Junior Achievement Kazakhstan" will take part in the development of the textbook "Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship and Business", namely in the section of the II term for the 10th grade.
Aigul Kuzembayeva told about her acquaintance with the Scientific-Production Enterprise "Atameken".

"We got to know Atameken when its employees conducted a training for pupils at the Republican tournament of schoolchildren in economics in April 2017. I saw the shining eyes of the children who took part in the training. Interesting teaching methods and a non-standard approach of trainers helped the participants of the training to look at different situations from different angle, to apply themselves to other roles.  They came to the following: "It turns out that I can do it too. I can. I know". I liked how they worked with children, there was a clear payoff. Then, as soon as I heard about this program, I liked that it would be for students of 10-11 grades. Also, the fact that it is proposed to hold a lesson in game and practical form is very correct. We are just advocating the practice of developing a textbook", - said the director of PF" Junior AchievementKazakhstan ".

Aigul Kuzembayeva noted that the international educational organization "Junior Achievement Worldwide" started its activity since 1919. Currently, its ranks are united by more than 117 countries around the world.

"Our program includes an interactive-computer format for games, which runs online. For example, the game "Titan" - an interactive business simulation, which gives an opportunity to test how enterprises of one industry in a competing world work. "Titan" allows you to get an idea of the basic elements of enterprise management. Students, taking decisions on the strategy of the enterprise, the price of the product, investments in expanding production, marketing and scientific development, get the skills of teamwork, get acquainted with the concept of "business management". At the end of the game, the company that received the most profit, becomes the winner. Students also get an idea of such specialties as a manager, accountant, marketer, engineer, which further promotes a more meaningful choice of profession - said Aigul Kuzembaeva.

She added that, based on experience, it can be said that students' assessment of the subject "Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship and Business" will not be so standard as implying that students have practical skills and skills in entrepreneurship and business.
The speaker shared her experience in introducing business education in schools.

"Our program was introduced in all schools in the country from 1 to 11 classes. 80% of all teachers knew mathematical sciences. Many schools taught subjects "Applied Economics", "Fundamentals of Economics and Financial Literacy" as the main subject, and as an optional one. Every year about 150-200 thousand people study. Over the past three years, the program has changed, it is conducted on the basis of applied economics, with a reduction in the number of theories", - Aigul Kuzembaeva said.

The speaker told that the training helps schoolchildren determine their goals for the future.

"Our students also participate in the" School Company "program, where they have the opportunity to start their own business within the school: starting with the organization of the company, writing a business plan, producing goods and providing services, ending with the liquidation of the company. When meeting with graduates of this program, many participants are grateful for the knowledge and skills they have gained that help them in adulthood. One of the graduates of the program opened a business: the delivery of food to the house. She already has two warehouses of goods, more than 10 workers, there are regular customers. When she was asked what the program gave you, she replied: "I realized that I can not do everything myself, it is enough to hire people for a particular job. My job as an entrepreneur is to manage the business. " In my practice, all graduates clearly understood what they want to do in the future, and whether there is a place in their lives for business, "Aigul explained.

She added that the student during the training in the basics of economics understands how the market operates, what is demand and supply, how the bank works, on what terms a loan is issued, and a deposit is opened. The child sees that the money set aside correctly, brings good capital.

The leading teacher of JuniorAchievement, Master of Mathematical Sciences Saule Shaikhslamova noted that in 2014 the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kyzylorda region jointly implemented a pilot project with Gymnasium No. 9 in the city of Kyzylorda.

"Atameken coordinated with the methodological center training, informed the teachers that the textbook" Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship and Business" will be introduced. Special trainings and master classes for 32 teachers were organized. For 6 months, students were taught the basics of business. It was in that summer that the youth festival was held, the children themselves opened a "business", they were able to present all this there. Basically, they were engaged in manufacturing of costume jewelery, different decoration of handwork. Students of colleges also took part in the project", - Saule Shaikhslamova shared.

She noted that if appropriate trainings and courses are conducted, teachers can easily re-qualify and learn new skills. Therefore, the introduction of the subject "Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship and Business" in schools should not cause difficulties with "who will teach".

"For our school, this is not an innovation, we constantly work with the Regional Chamber of Entrepreneurs", - emphasized the leading teacher of Junior Achievement.

Students often travel abroad and participate in international competitions and festivals for various programs and projects "Junior Achievement".

"In 2014, when we went to Singapore, our company was struck by the fact that working with koshma and camel wool makes very beautiful unique crafts, jewelry and souvenirs. At the competition, having shown good knowledge, skills in doing business, interesting and unique handmade goods, the Kazakhstani team won in the nomination "Bolashat tandaui (Choice of the Future)", Saule Shaikhslamova told.

Leading teacher Junior Achievement noted that in 2017 the children presented their works in the corresponding festival in Japan.

"We keep theory and practice on the same wave. If we teach 1 hour theory, 1 hour of compulsory practice. This is necessary in order to entice children. They really learn how to make competitive products and they get it. In each product they invest their ideas and ideas", - the teacher said.

She also added that the introduction of the subject, initiated by NCE RK "Atameken" in the country's schools "Basics of Entrepreneurship and Business" is a time requirement.

"Not all children enter universities, they do not become physicists or geographers. Most often, employees work instead of starting their own business. This program will allow many residents of our country to get skills of doing business from school. The creation of small and medium-sized businesses will give great support to the state", - Saule Shaikhslamova said.

On 19th of September NCE RK "Atameken" has announced the introduction of a new school in the country's new subject - "Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship and Business".  It will be taught from the year 2018 on an elective basis (that is, at the choice, at the request of the student). Lessons will be held twice a week.
