Committee of manufacturing industry

Committee of the manufacturing industry was set up in order to promptly solve the problems of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan on issues related to the development and support of light, chemical, woodworking, furniture, pulp and paper, printing and other areas of manufacturing industry.

The tasks of the Secretariat of the Committee is to analyze and to develop proposals for the Presidium and the Management Board of the National Chamber on:

  • definition of conceptual approaches to public policy in the field of light industry, chemical, woodworking, furniture, pulp and paper, printing and other areas of the manufacturing industry;

  • presentation of proposals on how to improve the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of light industry, chemical, woodworking, furniture, pulp and paper, printing and other areas of the manufacturing industry;

  • identification of priority problems in the manufacturing sector that require legislative and (or) organizational solutions;

  • formation of a common position of the National Chamber on the main strategic directions of development of light, chemical, woodworking, furniture, pulp and paper, printing and other areas of manufacturing industry

  • participation in the development and implementation of government policy documents on the development of the spheres of light, chemical, woodworking, furniture, pulp and paper, printing and other areas of manufacturing industry

  • presentation of proposals on how to strengthen cooperation with international industry organizations.

  • analysis in order to develop proposals for the further development of chemical, woodworking, furniture, pulp and paper, printing and other areas of manufacturing industry

The Secretariat was created in order to ensure the functioning of the Committee. The competence of the Secretariat includes:

  1. preparation and conduct of meetings of the Committee.

  2. collection and systematization of training materials for the meetings of the Committee, including draft agendas.

  3. formation of plans of work of the Committee.

  4. expert-analytical support of the Committee.

  5. interaction with public authorities, associations (unions), organizations and other entities within the competence of the Committee.

  6. supervision of other issues of the Committee.
