Participants of the national championship “SAGE Kazakhstan” met with the representatives of NCE RK "Atameken"

Talgat Doskenov stressed that anyone in our country can realize the potential, above all, it is necessary to be persistent. "In order to become a millionaire, tou need to go broke few times", - he added.

Director of the department of human capital development Lyazzat Shonaeva, in turn, encouraged children not just to learn by heart the school program, but to understand how to apply knowledge in life.

"If you look at the biography of many successful people in the world, few of them have been excellent students, good students, they just simply knew how to prioritize. It does not matter, which scores you got at the Unified National Test, the main thing that you have functional literacy, and you can become a successful person", - she said.

Let’s note that by the results of the competition, the winners were determined in two categories. For example, in the category "Socially Responsible Business" won the team of Atyrau region with the project of breeding birds. Aizada Ualitova, Zhantasov Kairat, Akerke Zulkasheva and Diaz Makhabbatolla bought eggs and breed chicks in incubators.

Galina Koroteeva, Palina Martemyanova, Zhanar Tokanova and Aizhan Bulekbayeva from Karaganda oblast took second place with a project for the production of orthopedic pads for prevention of flatfoot. Leather goods were done by Alіbek Taiman, Nurbek Naukanov and Aruzhan Asylkhanova. The guys from Aktobe region took the third place in the abovementioned category.

As for social entrepreneurship the top projects look as follows: first place - the project "Mobile application for volunteers" (Temirlan Ouali, Alibek Akhanov Mukhamedali Salaydyn from Astana), the second place - a project for orphans “soul in the palm" (Aiman Zhumabaeva and Violetta Kan from Mangystau oblast), third place – cultivation of flowers in Aktobe region (Erkenaz Shotaeva, Karina Derbisalina and Kuat Akhmetov).

National Coordinator of the program “SAGE Kazakhstan” Zaur Uvalieva, talked about the winning project in the category of "Social Entrepreneurship", she stressed that the guys are going to develop volunteer activities in Kazakhstan, and this issue is relevant for our country. "The project is clearly innovative. This mobile app allows volunteers from around the world to participate in volunteer activities. The application creates a list of events where the help of volunteers is needed. A person uses the application, chooses an interesting project and registers, this event is automatically entered in the volunteer’s calendar and a person can keep track of the schedule", - she said. According to Zaure Uvalieva, schoolchildren plan to establish partnership with UN program "Volunteers".

By the way, to attend an international championship SAGE in Seoul in August 2015 will go only two teams, which took the first place.
