Atameken received 143 materials for the competition among the media

The results of the competition will be announced in the coming days. The reception of applications for the republican competition of journalistic works among media representatives for the best material in the framework of the Unified Program of Business Development and Business Development "Business Road Map-2020" and Kazakhstan entrepreneurship in the markets of the EAEU member states has been completed.

Journalists from Kazakhstani media, both regular and freelance, took part in the contest. The submitted materials were in different genres and formats: an essay, interviews, articles, television and radio broadcasts, social investigations and others.

The works were accepted in 4 nominations:

  • the best analytical material in print media
  • the best report on TV (plot for information and analytical program, documentary film)
  • the best analytical material in Internet media
  • the best radio story.

There was received in total 143 materials. The competitive works, which were aired or published in the media from 1st of January 2017 to 15th of August 2017 were taken into consideration. The official results of the contest will be announced in the coming days. Let's remind, the prize fund of the competition is 2 280 000 tenge.

When assessing the competitive works, objectivity, professional level of presentation of the material, novelty, exclusivity, style, language of presentation, independence of the author's concept, accuracy and reliability of information, conformity to the ethical principles of journalism will be taken into account.

The purpose of the competition was to popularize successful entrepreneurs, highlighting the economic and social role of business in the development of the state. Also, the involvement of the media community in the coverage of the Business Road Map-2020 program and Kazakhstani entrepreneurship in the markets of the EAEU member states.
