Chinese designers enter the Kazakhstani market
The leading designer company of China presented its exclusive collection at EXPO-2017 in Astana
As its author, the designer Zhang Lifu told, the main idea of the show is the combination of Chinese and Kazakh cultures. The name is quite in tune with the idea - "Silk threads of the heavenly path."
"The collection was created in cooperation with artists of the Chinese Academy of Arts and was born as a result of inspiration by their paintings", - Zhang Lifu explained.
The first - a black and white part of the collection, is the embodiment of paintings made in the Chinese traditional style. They are painted with mascara on a white background, where the tops of the Tien Shan are depicted. The second part - in a modern style, very bright and personifies the city.
"That is, it is based on another part of the exposition - paintings made in a modern style and embodying Chinese cities. The author of the paintings is the pro-rector of the Chinese Academy of Art Design Zhou Gang. The name of the paintings and sounds - "Cities-Dragons". Red color personifies a woman in a modern city ", - noted the author
I must say that the show looked very futuristic. It was made with the use of searchlight aimed at models. First, girls appeared in the dresses, reminiscent of flying birds, then blue clouds. All this against the backdrop of a black and white landscape. And then the color of the scenery was changed to red, and on the stage came girls in mini and long boots with glowing earrings and with blue hair. The music accordingly changed its rhythm, moving from romantic-lyrical melodies to electronically-dynamic melodies.
The collection presented in Astana was timed to coincide with the opening of a boutique in Astana. Chinese designers hope that fans of their creativity and regular customers will find them here.
"We mainly work for the local, Chinese market. Our customers are Chinese celebrities, public figures and government officials", - Zhang Lifu said. However, the company "Zhejiang Kain" is not limited to creating high fashion collections, it also works for the middle class and the mass market.
"For us this is both business and art at the same time. We create not only collectible clothes, but also make clothes more massive, clothes of average luxury, thus, we position ourselves", - he said.
It is worth noting that "Zhejiang Cain" has created and sewed clothes for employees of the pavilion of the People's Republic of China at the exhibition "EXPO" in Astana.
"The Zhejiang Cain Design Company, speaking on the international platform, reflects the image of China to the full, shows the Chinese spirit, Chinese culture and thoughts, which are fully reflected in the bright colors of clothing in this show. Kazakhstani friends will be able to better understand the culture of China", - the deputy director of the Chinese pavilion at EXPO-2017 Ruan Wei said.
Mazhilis MP Meruert Kazbekova expressed her confidence that in the near future Kazakh and Chinese designers will be able to implement joint projects in the field of modern fashion.
