Company “KazMunaiGas Group”, “Samruk” and “Air Astana” were named the most attractive in terms of employment

According to a survey of the company “Universum”, - the world leader in the field of employer branding - these companies are leaders in the preferences of both students and staff. According forbes.kz, the company surveyed more than 10 thousand Kazakh students and professionals to find out at which companies they want to work and why.

As a result, 26.09% of the students voted for KazMunaiGas Group, 20,62% - for Air Astana, and 15.61% - for Samruk. Preferences of professional employees were also divided between three companies: KazMunaiGas Group - 19,77%; Samruk - 17,60%; Air Astana -15,64%.

It is noteworthy that students named other companies where they would like to work: BMW Group, Microsoft, Samsung, KPMG, Procter & Gamble, Ernst & Young, and so on. Professional with great confidence mentioned Gazprom, Kazakhmys, Tengizchevroil, Samsung, KazTransOil.

The company “Universum”, annually polls more than 1 million students and professionals in 55 countries to identify their career preferences, communication habits and perceptions of potential employers. Respondents had to select from the list of 125-149 employers, from which they had to select ones that they prefer. Of these, it determines 5 ideal employers. Based on this information “Universum” generates ratings "most attractive employer" for students and professionals. Rankings are presented in the categories "Business", "Engineering / natural sciences”, “IT” and "Humanities".

The technique is based on the Universum survey of perception of the employer and career preferences of the respondents to the characteristics of the "reputation and image", "nature of work", "people and culture", "salary and advancement opportunities". The method is based on 40 attributes (factors), each of which refers to the corresponding characteristic.
