Chinese businessmen are willing to become partners of Kazakh colleagues

The delegation of businessmen from the People's Republic of China visited the National Chamber of  Entrepreneurs of  Kazakhstan "Atameken" to discuss ways of mutually beneficial cooperation

During the meeting with the chairman of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan Meirbekov Mazhitov, business representatives from China have offered various forms of cooperation with Kazakhstani colleagues, they talked about projects that may become joint, they were interested in other variants of mutually beneficial partnership, they discussed the issues of attracting investments.

Head of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan told about the activities of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, stressing that it is designed primarily to enhance the bargaining power between business and Government. Meirbek Mazhitov added that "Atameken" represents the interests of the business community in the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as assistance to the development of entrepreneurship both in Kazakhstan and in foreign markets.

"With the active support of the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of China to Kazakhstan Zhang Zhanhuey, we are closely cooperating with the business community of China. For example, just this month we have planned three events - business missions and business tours at Chinese enterprises, during which will be presented the export potential of China as well as innovation in production technologies that we can use in agriculture, food industry. I think these meetings will be fruitful", - said the chairman of the Foreign Trade Chamber.

In turn, Chinese entrepreneurs have shown interest in Kazakh projects that, in their opinion, can be successful if to put joint efforts. According to the businessmen of China, Kazakhstan is rich in natural resources, it has fertile agricultural soil, God himself commanded to stimulate entrepreneurial activity. Chinese businessmen are attracted by a favorable investment climate in Kazakhstan.

"Our meeting will identify priority areas that are of the biggest interest to enterprises, and will enhance direct and immediate contacts with Chinese companies, creating an atmosphere of cooperation between entrepreneurs of both countries", - said chairman of the Chinese Council for the Promotion of South-South cooperation (CPSSC ) Lu Xinghua.

 According to him, Kazakhstan has an active policy on attraction of foreign investment into the country, and continuously strengthens the legal framework in this area.

"I know that the Government of Kazakhstan provides legislative state support for direct investment: A new investment law, which protects the interests of investors", - said Liu Xinghua.

According to him, the People's Republic of China has been created more than 60 years ago, and the policy of opening - 30 years. And during this period, the Chinese managed to build the country's relatively solid foundation for the industry. Today, China is well-developed processing industry, there was created a powerful production.

 As it was noted during the meeting, the two heads of the states also attaches great importance to cooperation between the two countries. At the same time the Chinese guests did not fail to note that the initiative of President Xi Jinping to establish the Economic Belt of the Great Silk Road has received a positive response with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. And at a recent meeting in China between the Head of Kazakhstan and the Chinese leader, they spoke again about the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries in various sectors.

In this connection, the Chinese delegation said during the meeting at NCE about good prospects for cooperation. For example, last year in Beijing was established a committee to promote South-South cooperation - the All-China non-profit umbrella organization that covers broad areas - politics, culture, science and technology education. But the priority for the Committee was to promote the entry of Chinese companies to the international market.

As noted the head of the committee on promotion of cooperation, currently is being created a Chinese Internet network for the international trade of production capacity, which will allow entrepreneurs of both countries to communicate online.

Among the members of the delegation (30 people) were the heads of the Chinese companies that have long been working in Kazakhstan. But this time there were people who came for the first to this country, hoping to open a joint venture. So, the Chinese have proposed a joint project to produce solar batteries, for which they are willing to provide financial support (over 80%). Also, the Chinese partners are interested in the construction of electricity infrastructure.

By the way, Bank of Beijing intends to provide financial support to Chinese companies in Kazakhstan, which gives loans at a rate of 6.5% per annum.

According to the Ambassador of China in Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan proposed to establish Kazakh-Chinese bank, which will be engaged in lending to small and medium-sized businesses involved in the Economic Belt of the Silk Road. There was received a proposal on supply of high-tech medical equipment which is manufactured in China by German analogue.

Businessmen engaged in the production of cement offered their services. But, as noted the managing director of the Agency for the study of profitability and investment Bakhyt Kusainov, first of all, it is necessary to study the needs of the market in Kazakhstan in this direction.

At the meeting was presented the world's first electronic foreign trade platform in the entire line of bulk cargo JUMORE. As it was said by the Chinese guests, the company integrates services such as e-commerce, online financing, global procurement, cloud storage, internet of things, finances of the supply chain that provides a system for the manufacturing industry, the center of the study conditions, the center of hedging futures, smart logistics, etc.
