The charges of the Russian customs officials against Kazakhstani road transport companies are not supported by the facts

The National Chamber of entrepreneurs commented on the statement of the Federal Customs Service of Russia on the detention of Kazakhstani trucks - all carriers and it is approximately 150 can’t be dishonest!

"15 – is not 150! How can 150 carriers be suddenly "dishonest"? If these 150 are unfair, then quote their violations ", - said the managing director of the department of economic integration NCE RK “Atameken” Dana Zhunusova, answering the journalists' questions during the press conference.

Despite the fact that the Kazakh carriers were released, one cannot say that this issue is resolved, stressed Dana Zhunusova. No proof of the legality of the detention of Kazakhstani trucks at the customs point by the Federal Customs Service has been presented. So far, the Federal Customs Service of Russia has not presented an official response to NCE’s request.

"According to the carriers with whom we deal communicate on daily basis, there are no more queuing trucks at the customs posts. Some vehicles that were on customs points in Samara, Saratov, Novokuibyshevsk, Togliatti, Sol-Iletsk were released without a customs inspection. We received this information late on Friday", - stated Dana Zhunusova.

" The FCS His didn’t announce its official position, except for the comment that they have placed on the website customs.ru. Regarding the data on 15 carriers, in relation to which were allegedly applied administrative measures. We believe that this is a special case: there are unscrupulous carriers everywhere. And as of September 3, all vehicles were detained at internal customs posts", - she added.

Dana Zhunusova stressed that if carriers will appeal to NCE for assistance in matters of compensation for damages, the Chamber will provide them with all necessary assistance. However, no appeals of the kind were submitted by entrepreneurs.
