Kazakhstan will supply the whole Chinese province with vegetable oil

For the first time 2 thousand tons of sunflower and rapeseed oil were exported from the station Dostyk in Almaty region to the Chinese province Shaanxi

The ceremony of the dispatch of a container was attended by representatives of Kazakhstan company “Total Impex”, the Chinese company "Aytszyuy" and Chinese consulate in Almaty. Exports of finished products is implemented with the support of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken", which was able to organize effective cooperation and collaboration between the two countries' companies, to solve organizational and technical issues. Now, the domestic products will be exported to Shaanxi province, the population of which exceeds 35 million people. According to the director of the Kazakhstani company “Total Impex” Dauren Turapbekova, the pilot project will facilitate attraction of new investments in the economy in the future.

"The project will work out the logistics, and will become an indicator and an example for the Chinese business community. The results of the implementation will affect the attraction of investments to our country. In addition, as early as this year it is planned to open a factory in the North Kazakhstan region for the processing of oilseeds with production capacity of 40-100 thousand tons a year, in the future it is planned to reach capacity of 100-150 thousand tons a year", - said the head of the company. According to him, the cultivation of oilseeds in the region will be economically beneficial for farmers.

"Thanks to the National Chamber of entrepreneurs, we got Chinese partners. Now, we can sell the finished product directly", - said Turapbekov.

The contract value amounted to more than 573 million tenge. In the short-term we plan to send about 20-40 containers of oil, we think of increasing the range in the future. The Chinese market is already interested in the supply of flour products, dairy products and meat.
