About the problems of tourism - at the government level
Kazakh Prime Minister instructed to create an interagency working group on resolution of the issues of tourism industry
At a meeting on Entrepreneurship Support, which was held recently in Almaty with participation of Karim Masimov, the representatives of industry associations voiced their problematic issues.
In particular, a member of the Kazakhstani Tourist Association, director of "International mountaineering camp "Khan Tengri" Dauren Valiyev raised questions about visa and migration regime, the organization of transportation of tourist groups, as well as the lack of coordination of government agencies, the lack of a unified tourism policy and a common approach to promotion of RK as a tourism destinations in order to develop inbound and domestic tourism.
In order to discuss problems of the tourist industry and to develop a set of measures to address them, the Prime Minister instructed to create an interagency working group under the leadership of the First Deputy Prime Minister B. Sagintaev.
Given that the proposals of the working group will be submitted through the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan "Atameken", NCE offers industry business to compile together the list of pressing issues (both systemic and regional).
After reviewing the proposals on systematic measures for the development of domestic tourism will be submitted to a meeting of the Government in October this year.
