Kazakhstani pilgrims will fly to Hajj by Saudi Airlines
NCE RK "Atameken" has received informed from the Civil Aviation Committee of MID RK on air transportation of Kazakhstani pilgrims during Hajj 2016
The issue of air transportation of Kazakh pilgrims to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was discussed since April this year. It was assumed that air carriers from the Kazakh side will be the airlines “SCAT” or “Air Astana”. However, these airlines were unable to participate in the transportation of pilgrims for objective reasons. Currently, the only carrier became the Saudi airline “Flynas”, which on 18th of August 2016 received permission to transport Kazakhstani from Astana, Almaty and Shymkent to the cities. Medina and Jeddah.
Flights of the Airline “Flynas” will be carried out in the period from 30th of August to 23rd of September by Airbus-330 (440 seats) - 3 aircrafts and Boeing-767 (266-302 seats) - 4 aircrafts.

In the absence of air carriers from Kazakhstani side, NCE raised the issue of carriage of pilgrims by the airlines of third countries, but according to the MFA of RK, the aeronautical authorities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has not yet given permission to perform these operations. The question is on the elaboration of public bodies.
