Business of Almaty and Astana: focuses are set
The Chairman of the Presidium of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan "Atameken" Timur Kulibayev met with the leadership of the Chambers of Entrepreneurs of Almaty and Astana
The Chairman of the Regional Council of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Almaty Yerlan Stambekov spoke about the activities of the Chamber’s structure in Almaty, in particular, the successful operation of centers for servicing entrepreneurs, active certification of urban sites for the privatization, protection of the rights of entrepreneurs.
In particular, the success of the Almaty Chamber is demonstrated by the performance of the center for servicing entrepreneurs to 144%, as well as the privatization of more than 1,800 projects for priority - divestiture and transfer to the business environment. Regional Chamber effectively protects the rights of entrepreneurs, including in the courts.
Timur Kulibayev paid particular attention to the need for the development of tourism in Almaty, stressing the readiness of existing infrastructure and other facilities, as well as the activity of the business community of the city, its readiness with the right approach and the idea of uniting to increase existing and create new objects and services of the tourism cluster. According to Timur Kulibayev, Almaty – is ready for tourism city. In his opinion, it is very important to create a unified program of tourism development plan in Almaty within the framework of the tourism cluster.
Chairman of the Regional Council of the Chamber of entrepreneurs of Astana Dauren Zhaksybek informed about specific examples of effective work of the regional Chamber of Entrepreneurs. For example, the Chamber in order to address the urgent problem of underdevelopment of a network of kindergartens in Astana organized a meeting with the Association of kindergartens, government agencies and organizations. As it turned out, despite the shortage of kindergartens in the capital - one of the lowest funding levels in the country per capita for private pre-school institutions.
Collaboration of the Metropolitan Chamber with Akimat and Maslikhat of the city allowed to increase the amount of per capita funding for kindergartens in Astana by 45%. And as a result, you can expect to increase their investment attractiveness.
Astana Chamber also identified 25 regional administrative barriers, of which 10 are eliminated. Particularly important indicator of the work of the Chamber – is to protect the interests of the capital of entrepreneurs in the amount of 2.47 billion tenge as a result of joint work with the prosecutor's office and state agencies.
Noting the existing barriers, the Chairman of the Presidium Timur Kulibayev identified ways to overcome them, and expressed the view that any progress in any area of the main city of the country aimed at improving the quality of life, to make the city really comfortable for living. According to him, Astana must serve progress for a comfortable life.
The Head of NCE also stressed the importance of increasing local content in the procurement of goods and services in the capital, but it needs to solve fundamentally the most important issues to improve the quality of domestic goods and services.
General Recommendation of Timur Kulibayev for leadership not only of Almaty and Astana Chambers, but also for all RCE, but on further increase in the transparency of the work of regional offices, to improve the quality of information work both with government agencies and the media and the public.
