NCE announces a competition for the award of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Altyn Sapa" and competition-exhibition "The Best Product of Kazakhstan" in 2017
This was stated at a briefing at the Service of Central Communications by Deputy Chairman of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan "Atameken" Nurzhan Altaev and Deputy Director of the Department of Employment of NCE Saltanat Abdikarimova.

"After Kazakhstan's accession to the WTO and EAEU our businesses obtained great opportunities for the sale of our products at overseas markets. However, the big question that now faces Kazakh enterprises - are questions of quality and competitiveness of our companies in these markets. No wonder the Head of State in his Address spoke about the need of the third modernization of Kazakhstan", - said Altaev.

In accordance with the Decree of the President of Kazakhstan the competitions are held annually. Individual entrepreneurs and legal entities engaged in the production of goods and provision of services on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan can participate in competitions (except for the production of arms and military equipment). They can’t take part in the organization of the competition, in which the Government holds more than 50%, as well as the organizations in respect of which were adopted decisions on the implementation of rehabilitation and bankruptcy procedures.

Those wishing to take part in competitions have until 1^st of July 2017 have to submit an application and materials (reports), drawn up in accordance with the design rules, views, and a preliminary assessment of materials of participants of competitions in the regional Chamber of Entrepreneurs.
The purpose of our competitions is to support domestic producers, improve the quality of Kazakhstani goods and services.

The contest "Altyn Sapa", according to the Decree of the President, is held since 2006. the The National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan "Atameken" is the organizer of this competition since 2015.
Competition for the President's Award of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Altyn Sapa" is held in three categories: "The Best Enterprise for production purposes", "The Best enterprise producing goods for the population", "The Best enterprise rendering services". In each category three prizes are awarded by category: small, medium and large businesses.

Also as part of the competition "Altyn Sapa" NCE RK "Atameken" established additional awards: "Quality Leader", "The Best Innovative Project", "Best Industrial Project" and "The Best enterprise producing food and / or agricultural products".

During the period of the competition more than 1,600 enterprises participated in it. 74 of them were awarded the President's Award. These include companies such as, for example, "Kazzinc", "Kazatomprom", LLP "Eltex Alatau", JSC "Rakhat", and many others.
Contest-exhibition "The Best Product of Kazakhstan" is held since 2001. It includes three nominations: "The best industrial goods", "The best goods for the population", "The Best food". For each of them are awarded diplomas of I, II and III degree.

During the period, the participants of the contest-exhibition were more than 5 600 companies. Of these, 115 companies have received diplomas.
All winners of the competition "Altyn Sapa" and “The Best Product of Kazakhstan” get the right during four years to use the competition logo for promotional purposes.

The created competent expert group and the Commission under NCE RK "Atameken" will appreciate the participants. According to the results of work at the end of the year will be determined the lists of applicants for "Altyn Sapa", the title winners of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the title of the award winners of the Republican contest-exhibition "The Best Product of Kazakhstan."

"It should be noted that since the transfer of the right to organize and to conduct these competitions to NCE in 2015, we have introduced some changes. First, the expert committees, which previously consisted of more officials, today include more social activists, journalists and experts from business associations. In addition, in 2015 we decided that the companies with state participation and quasi-public enterprises can’t take part in these competitions", - said Altaev.

He also informed about the possible changes that will be made this year. "We sent to the Administration of the President's proposal on the need to conduct the competition "The Best Product of Kazakhstan" through Internet voting. This is, firstly, will ensure greater involvement of the population, and secondly, openness and transparency of the competition ", - informed the deputy chairman of the Board of NCE.
