Astana hosts Kazakh-Uzbek business forum

The Kazakh-Uzbek business forum is being held in Astana within the framework of the official visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkhat Mirziyoyev to the Republic of Kazakhstan. Negotiations with the participation of Kazakh and Uzbek entrepreneurs in B2B format are held within the frames of the business forum, as well as an exhibition of industrial and consumer goods of Uzbekistan, where participate about 100 Uzbek companies from light industry, machine building, food industry, construction, banks and investments and other. In total, more than 500 people will take part in the forum, 150 of them are Uzbek partners. On the platform of the Kazakh-Uzbek business forum, the ceremony of signing 10 documents for a total amount of about 97 million US dollars (one investment project for 20 million US dollars, nine documents in the export-trade sphere) took place. As a result, entrepreneurs of the two countries will sign 92 documents for a total amount of 840 million US dollars.
