"Altyn sapa": Abzal & K is a partner of Nestle
On 6th of December 2017 the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs RK "Atameken" plans to hold a solemn ceremony of awarding the laureates of the Presidential Prize "Altyn Sapa" and the republican contest-exhibition "The Best Goods of Kazakhstan".
Two companies will participate in the republican contest "Altyn Sapa" from Kyzylorda region. Both companies are brands not only of regional but also of republican importance: JSC Aral Tuz and PT “Abzal and K”.

Today we want to talk about one of the participants of the republican event - PT “Abzal and K”.
PT "Abzal and K" is one of the most intensively developing companies in the agricultural sector, namely in the country's rice industry. The company confidently ranks among the three leaders in rice production in the Republic, it is engaged in the production and processing of rice, and also invests in agriculture.
The company was established in 1994 in the city of Kyzylorde. For the first 9 years, it was engaged in the sale of rice. 2003 is an important moment in its formation and development.
With 600 hectares of land in each of the villages of Nagi Ilyasov and Besaryk of the Syrdarya region of the Kyzylorda region, work was begun on the sowing of rice and every year the sowing area increased.
The results did not make you wait long. In 2003, the Company collected 4,380 tons of products from two farms, and in 2005 this indicator increased by 16,400 tons. Time has shown to the Company that there is a need to open a factory for processing its products.

In 2005, PT “Abzal & K” purchased from the Republic of Korea equipment for the plant with a processing capacity of 5,000 tons per hour of black rice. Qualitatively grown and processed in a high-tech factory, products from 2010 began to conquer not only the domestic market, but also began to be exported to Turkmenistan.
The opening of roads to the market of the CIS countries caused an increase in the area of rice fields, i.е. if in 2005 the area of rice paddies was 4000 hectares, in 2010 it grew to 5250 hectares. Also, the 5-year practice of rice production became the basis for increasing average productivity, if in 2005 in the village of Nagi Ilyasov the productivity per hectare was 42 centners, in 2010 it reached 62 centners per hectare, in the village of Besaryk in 2005 it was 38 centners per hectare, in 2010 this indicator reached 51 centners per hectare.
Thus, the productivity of black rice increased steadily from 16,400 tons in 2005 to 30,270 tons in 2010. The company buys a Chinese-made plant with a capacity of 5 tons per hour and puts it into operation. In 2016 this plant is being improved by German equipment.

Currently, the Company produces white rice "Yantar", "Leader", "Anait", "Favorit", various kinds of rice cereals "Kamolino", rice flakes, rice feeds, rice husks. Most of the production is white rice "Yantar" and various varieties of rice cereals "Kamolino".
The founder of the PT "Abzal and K" is the "Hero of Labor" Yeraliyev Abzal. Today the company is headed by the director Murat Sarsenbayev.
"We have been on the rice market for 23 years now. We were able to create a full-fledged system consisting of transportation to all regions of our country and to the CIS countries up to rice seeds. We have our own fields, our own factory and a logistics service. The organization employs 350 people, which annually are trained in different countries at the expense of the Company. Currently, 50 percent of the goods are exported to the CIS countries and Mongolia", - the company's director said.
. PT "Abzal and K" produces its products on the markets of Kazakhstan, Russia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Turkmenistan, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan. The main customers of the Company are trading companies selling food products, shopping centers and cereal packing companies.
Confirmation of the stability and permanence of the Company is the repeated participation in the republican competition on the social responsibility of business "Paryz", approved by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev, as well as other achievements of the Company. For the 10-year history of this contest, the Company has become the winner three times, twice awarded the Golden Sign. Now it takes part in the competition for the award of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Altyn Sapa".
