New Chairman heads Tourist Industry Committee
Atameken held another session of the Tourist Industry committee. Chairman of the board of NCE Atameken Ablay Myrzakhmetov, Deputy Chairman Yuliya Yakupbayeva, Vice- Minister for culture and sport of the RK Erlan Kozhagapanov, “Kazakh tourism” chairman of the board Rashid Kuzembayev and other accredited associations’ representatives – members of tourist industry committee took part in the session.
The re-election of the chairman of the tourist industry committee issue was considered during the session. Following the outcome of the vote deputy and a member of the Committee on economic reform and regional development of Mazhilis RK, Pavel Kazantsev, was unanimously elected.

Let us remind that since December 2013 the Chairman of the Committee was a member of Atameken Presidium Roza Asanbayeva.
For highly professional activity in tourism and hospitality area, for loyal and dedicated work to the benefit of Kazakhstan tourism by the decision of the Chairman of Presidium Timur Kulibayev, Roza Asanbayeva is awarded with Atameken medal “for devotion to the cause” of 2nd class. The medal was handed by the Chairman of the Board of “Atameken” Ablay Myrzakhmetov.
Roza Abdykhamitovna deserves our warmest words. During the hard days of independence establishment of our State she gave all her energy for development of tourism of the country and headed the first tourist association of Kazakhstan, always stood for tourism importance. Your contribution to Kazakhstan tourism will be engraved in the history with golden letters”- expressed his gratitude Ablay Myrzakhmetov.
Yuliya Yakupbayeva also noted that Roza Asanbayeva won’t go far from the industry.
“We have been working side by side with Roza Abdyhamitovna for many years. I’m glad to know and to work with such a wonderful person. But the happiest part is that she will stay with us as our mentor on tourism development”- said the deputy chairman.
In her turn, Roza Asanbayeva thanked the Presidium and the Board of Atameken and tourist associations for fruitful and joint work.
“In the era of important legislative decisions for the industry, it is important that the Committee will be headed by Pavel Olegovich. I’m sure that he will be a true support of our legislative initiatives”- said Roza Asanbayeva.
Vice-Minister for culture and sport of the RK Erlan Kozhagapanov congratulated the new chairman.
“Besides the respect and a huge amount of work it is also a great responsibility. But I can’t say that it is a excessive burden. Together we can achieve a big breakthrough in the industry and its development”- underlined Erlan Kozhagapanov.

The president of the association of entrepreneurs of Astana city, vice president of parachuting federation in Astana city, vice-president of Kazakhstan ju-jitsu association, vice-president of Kazakhstan MMA association.
He was awarded with «Құрмет» decoration, «Ереңеңбекүшін», «НұрОтан» «Белсенді қызмет үшін» medals. He also has jubilee medals and National Order of Merit for tourism development, and other ministries’ awards.
