Nursultan Nazarbayev visited the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Almaty region
Head of the State Nursultan Nazarbayev visited the Regional Chamber of Entrepreneurs and met with the business community within the framework of his working visit to the Almaty region.
The head of state was presented with the concept of the Atameken Business Cіtу building, where the office of the Regional Chamber of Entrepreneurs operates in open space format, as well as the Business Service Center, which provides "one-stop" services and a business incubator.
Within the framework of the visit to the Chamber of Entrepreneurs, President Nursultan Nazarbayev met with entrepreneurs of the region, where he asked about the interaction between business and government.

Businessmen highly appreciated the joint work of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs and akimat of Almaty region on development and support of business.
"Almaty region does not look like other regions, it is unique region. First, it is the beautiful corner of our country, with mountains, steppes and rivers. On the other hand, industry and economy are developed there. On the third side, this is the border area. (...) The last three years, everything is developing well. Akim and his employees work well in all respects. I set the task of developing those, what can be obtained here. Sugar beet has always been a priority in the area back in those days. Now new sugar factories are launched. We import sugar, but 60 thousand tons are already produced here. There are opportunities. Fruit economy is very important," - Nursultan Nazarbayev emphasized.

In turn, the director of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Almaty region, Nariman Abilshaikov, informed the Head of State about the results of his work on protecting entrepreneurs' rights, non-financial support, consolidation of agricultural producers, assistance in financing projects. In addition, he spoke about the key directions of work on the development of human capital, as well as the implementation of the Bastau project in the framework of the Program for Productive Employment and Mass Entrepreneurship.
"The current year, training in the Bastau project will take place in all districts and cities. If we trained 1,312 people last year, this year we plan to cover over 3 thousand students. After allocation of additional 20 billion tenge for microcrediting in the regions, this year we intend to increase the number of projects to 650, as well as the amount of financing," - Nariman Abilshaikov emphasized.

In conclusion, the Head of State summed up the working visit, instructing to pay attention to the implementation of the five social initiatives.
