TIMUR KULIBAYEV: WE NEED TO JOINTLY DEVELOP THE RIGHT VECTOR OF PERSONNEL TRAINING
Chairman of the Presidium of the "Atameken" NCE RK Timur Kulibayev stated this during the meeting of the Regional Council in Aktyubinsk region.
An important topic was the issue of vocational training of new staff. The head of National Chamber drew attention to the need for efficient use of the allocated funds and training for specialists on demand, instructing the Regional Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Aktyubinsk region to prepare an analysis of necessary professional staff in the region. For example, last year, under the Program of Productive Employment and Mass Entrepreneurship, short-term training was tested for the education of massive workforce (masons, carpenters, welders, cooks and others) on the basis of enterprises.
"Nowadays there is no economic sense to train cadres in colleges for almost 3 years, of which 1.5 years is a school course. Last year, 189 training centers at the enterprises trained about 8 thousand people. We will look at the terms of training, so that they start earning money faster and feed themselves. We need to work together to develop the right vector of training," - Timur Kulibayev said
The head of the NCE noted very good indicators of small and medium-sized business, which exceeds 30%, and since the region is industrial with a number of large enterprises, oil and mining companies, there is a high potential for further increasing the share of small medium-sized enterprises.
"Now we are compiling a list of domestic producers for public procurements, quasi-public sector and national holdings. In the near future, it is planned to sign a road map with Samruk-Kazyna NWF, which will allocate all major commodity items from their purchases. So, the administration of the akimat needs to work hard to include in this list those local enterprises that have production areas, labor collectives, as well as relevant qualifications. And on the basis of these enterprises it is possible to develop other industries, expand the production line, carry out modernization, and connect small business to the service. It is better to use regional reserve, than to create from the ground up. You have a powerful industrial region, so, I think you could actively participate in such a large program" - Timur Kulibayev highlighted.
