SCREENING WILL SHOW WHAT BUSINESS TO DEVELOP IN AKTYUBINSK REGION
NCE RK "Atameken" offers to study the socio-economic potential of each region of the country. The pilot country screening project is to begin with the Aktobe region. Today, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs RK "Atameken" Yeldar Zhumagaziyev and a group of specialists arrived in the region to present the project of country screening (marketing for business). The meeting was held in the regional akimat with the participation of the deputy akim of the region Kairat Bekenov and representatives of large industrial enterprises of the region, as well as state bodies. Akimats of the districts were connected via video conferencing mode.
A special screening will allow identifying promising niches for the development of entrepreneurship and forming regional development maps for the creation and financing of new business projects, Yeldar Zhumagaziev said at the meeting.
As a result of screening, the research team will be able to identify additional niches for creating business projects in the region, as well as to identify problematic issues. The questioning will be conducted in the form of a door-to-door enquiry in each district, in each village or aul of the region. Such measures will determine the needs of the population. The questionnaire includes 29 key questions.
"Based on the information received, a regional development map will be prepared, which implies a clear specialization. We will be able to see what projects need to be created and maintained at the expense of the national budget, which through commercial banks, and which at the expense of regional resources," - Yeldar Zhumagaziyev highlighted.
This screening will allow not only to determine the real number of unemployed and so-called self-employed residents, but also to reveal the migration potential of the region and the real needs for the creation of certain business projects with new workplaces.
Only transparency and responsibility of the analytical group on-site will lead to the collection of accurate and objective information and the creation of the right picture, it was repeatedly noted during the presentation of the project. As a result, screening will allow correcting road maps taking into account the real needs of the region itself.
"Having learned the real need of the population, local executive bodies will be able to form and conduct effective measures of the state program at the level of settlements where the screening took place,"- Yeldar Zhumagaziyev concluded.

The screening will give the following results:
- New niches for the business;
- Geolocation of business objects (where and what to open);
- real directions for import substitution, etc.
"Our region is ready to start this screening. As for the ERG, we started work on screening based on a single-industry town in Khromtau. And we would like to synchronize everything at once in the framework of this common work. Second, the work started on the Agricultural Administration line and the third city of Aktobe is also ready to work on geoportal in this part, it is possible to take a larger scale. Now all ideas that you said are very modern and actual. And the fourth, that is very important moment, the akims of the districts will report on the results of the screening. This issue is under special control of the akim of the region, since we are the first in this project to implement country screening, a kind of diagnostics. This further development of the mechanism for the implementation of state programs and the development of a separate districts and auls of our region depends on it" - Kairat Bekenov pointed out.
According to the results of the meeting, the deputy akim of the region Kairat Bekenov instructed local executive bodies of Aktobe to strengthen the work on marketing research.
