"ATAMEKEN" ANNOUNCES COMPETITION AMONG JOURNALISTS
A contest for the best material about Kazakhstan entrepreneurship was announced
The NCE RK "Atameken" announces the Republican competition of journalistic works among representatives of the mass media for the best material in the framework of the "Business Road Map-2020" Unified Program of Business Support and Development and Kazakhstan Entrepreneurship in the markets of the EAEU member states.
The aim of the contest is to popularize successful entrepreneurs, highlight the economic and social role of business in the development of the state. The purpose implicates attracting the media to the coverage of the "Business Road Map-2020" program and the activity of Kazakhstan entrepreneurship in the markets of the EAEU member states.
Journalists from all Kazakhstani media, both regular and freelance, can participate in the contest. Creative competition will take place in various genres and formats: an essay, interviews, articles, television and radio broadcasts, social investigations and other.
Works that do not correspond to the subject matter or the requirements of the competition and arrived after the deadline for submission are not allowed to be considered. When assessing competitive works, objectivity, professional level of presentation of material, novelty, exclusivity, style, language of presentation, independence of the author's concept, accuracy and reliability of information, conformity to the ethical principles of journalism are taken into account..

Competitive works are given not later than 2 (two) working days from the moment of the submission of application to the address: 010000 Astana, 8 Kunaev str., block "B", office 2642. The Organizing Committee of the Competition reserves the right to reject the participant's application if it does not meet the conditions.
Competitive works, which have been aired or published in the media from January 1, 2018 to August 25, 2018, are accepted for consideration. Applications are accepted until September 25, 2018.
The competition is held in the following categories:
* The best analytical material in print media;
* The best report on TV (plot for the information-analytical program, documentary film);
* The best analytical material in the Internet media;
* The best radio material.
The procedure for the application of the material to the competition:
For each competitive work, a separate application must be made (submitted in any form, the sample can be downloaded here) with the signature of the head of the media, indicating the author's full name, place of work, position and contact information (e-mail address and phone number). Audio and video materials are presented accompanied by on-air references. Applications for the Competition are accepted from the date of publication of the announcement. Television materials are presented on DVDs, radio and photo materials - on CDs, printed materials are provided in Micosoft Word format and are accompanied by publication in PDF format (scanned copy should contain information and media dateline). Video materials are provided in DVD format with a resolution of at least 1280x720 pixels, timing - at least 2 minutes (for video clips) and no more than 15 minutes (for documentaries or TV shows). Audio materials are provided in mp3 format, timing - no more than 20 minutes. Text materials in Microsoft Word format are accepted by the electronic address of the Competition Organizing Committee.
The official results of the competition will be announced at the end of September 2018 and posted on the site of the NCE RK "Atameken" - www.atameken.kz
