Business is suggested to review changes to the law on regulation of trade activity
The NCE RK "Atameken" received a bill "On the introduction of changes and additions to certain legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the development of business environment and regulation of trading activities." The developer is the Ministry of National Economy.
The bill provides for:
- eliminating the need to visit banks after online account opening and use it remotely from the moment of opening;
- a clear display of the terms of each procedure of bailiffs;
- the settlement of the issues of responsibility of the directors/executive members of the joint-stock company when dealing with a conflict of interest that causes damage to society;
- the exemption of turnover during sales of products between participants in the special economic zone "Astana - new city" from value added tax and granting the right to choose the application of a zero rate of value added tax when selling goods to the territory of special economic zones;
- amendments in connection with the introduction of the "Virtual Warehouse" module;
- postponement of the universal application of a cash register machine with the function of fixing and (or) transferring data (online POS) from 2024 to 2020 with the provision of incentives for taxpayers;
- restoration of previously excluded preferential norms for socially vulnerable layers of the population;
- improvement of selection criteria for monitoring large taxpayers;
- Establishment of the taxation of gambling business.
