More and more companies are expressing readiness to open Training Centers

This was announced by Ablai Myrzakhmetov during the Government meeting. According to him, in the framework of the "Yenbek" program for the development of productive employment and mass entrepreneurship for 2017-2021, the NCE RK "Atameken" implements two directions. One of them is short-term training, which takes place on the basis of colleges or training centers in enterprises. The duration of such training is from one to six months.

"Atameken" maintains a registry with 216 training centers. Since the beginning of 2018, 6 thousand people have been trained in 143 centers. There is interest in the program, 56% of people trained at the base of enterprises are already employed, another 19% have a steady income. The National Chamber together with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan conducts continuous monitoring, we see that businessmen perceive the project with interest,” - Ablai Myrzakhmetov said.

The urgency of the need for short-term training was confirmed by screening conducted in the Aktobe region. He showed that 68% of the staffing requirements are working specialties. 559 enterprises have declared their readiness to consider the possibility of opening a training center on their basis.

According to the speaker, today the share of employment should be the defining KPI for training centers. The proposed by the National Chamber employment rate of 60% will be one of the main criteria for entering the Register of educational centers. This year it is planned to train over 8 thousand people.

Ablai Myrzakhmetov also spoke about the implementation of the "Bastau" project, in which 23,796 people were trained. By the end of the year, it is planned to train 28,300 unemployed and self-employed.

“Over 5 thousand people have already implemented their business through microlending this year, about 6 thousand more are waiting for financing. I want to note that 70% of those trained defended their business projects successfully. At the same time, the state placed the KPI level at 20%,” - Ablai Myrzakhmetov noted.

According to Ablai Myrzakhmetov, the implementation of business projects has contributed to the increase in funds for microcredit allocated under the "Five Social Initiatives". This year, the total amount of loans under the program reached 62 billion tenge.

“All business ideas undergo an objective assessment by a specially created commission,” - Ablai Myrzakhmetov said.
