30 DOMESTIC MANUFACTURERS SHOWED PRODUCTS IN SHANGHAI
Participants of the first Chinese international import exhibition presented goods in the industrial, agricultural, engineering, tourism industries.
According to the organizers, this event demonstrates the readiness of the Chinese government to open its market to other countries.
The exhibition presents about 150 thousand professional buyers from more than 100 countries. The exhibition consists of three parts: National Trade and Investment Exhibition; business exhibition and international trade forum.
“Chinese economy ranked second in the world in imports and consumption. At present, China has entered a new stage of development, when the need for imported goods is continuously expanding. This exhibition is a unique opportunity for Kazakhstani exporters to meet with Chinese buyers, traders and retail chains,” – Ayan Erenov, Chairman of the Board of the Chamber of Foreign Trade of Kazakhstan, said.

By January 1, 2018, trade between China and Kazakhstan amounted to $ 10,469 million, ranking second in the total trade with countries with a share of 13.1%. Compared to last year, the turnover increased by 32%.
Up to date, Kazakhstani company “Paseka” PH and the Chinese company “Xinjiang Xinhongji International Trading Co.” have concluded an agreement for the supply of 15 thousand tons of honey to China.
