A businesswoman should be actively involved in cooperation and local government.

This opinion was expressed by the chairman of the Council of business women NPP RK "Atameken" at the first Forum of rural women, held in Astana. The forum was held on the theme "The contribution of women to the sustainable development of rural areas of Kazakhstan"

“A woman is by nature a vehicle for change in society. In business, you can safely go through the method of cooperation, - said Lazzat Ramazanova. - Today it is important not only to do business, it is important to unite. Practice has shown that women are better at creating cooperatives. Increasing the participation of women entrepreneurs in local self-government will allow to fill the gap in the feedback chain of the rural population and state administration. ”

Today, the women's cooperative movement is one of the key areas of work of the Business Women's Council. In developed European countries, infrastructure in the service sector is being raised precisely through cooperation, Lazzat Ramazanova emphasized.

“It is convenient for local executive bodies, the community of entrepreneurs takes responsibility. Today we need to shape the image of a successful rural woman, instilling a love for a small country. Our Council began the introduction of cooperation on the example of "village - city". When we want to start something in the village, we need to start from the city. Civil society begins with a small, primarily with a condominium in the city and a small street in the village. Therefore, by uniting, we will be able to solve many issues, including in terms of rural development, ”said Lazzat Ramazanova.

In turn, the deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan Aizada Kurmanova stressed that it is in rural districts that women know better about all the problems that worry the local population.

“People should understand that it is necessary to be actively involved in self-government, to be socially active. And a lot, of course, depends on women in rural areas, ”said Aizada Kurmanova.

The purpose of the Astana Forum is to show the contribution of rural women to the achievement of the country's sustainable development, discussion of the Concept on Kazakhstan’s transition to a green economy, development of agricultural cooperation and self-employment in auls, and support for gender policy in the countryside.
