Challenge to create business eco-systems in the region
The Forum “Business Women of the Irtysh Republic” took place in Pavlodar, in which about 200 representatives of regional business took part
The event was organized by the Council of Businesswomen of the Atameken Chamber of Entrepreneurs
In the region, a good potential for business development was noted at the Forum. Taking into account the specifics of the region, further emphasis should be placed on the development of women's entrepreneurship in the industry, said Lazat Ramazanova, chairman of the Council of Business Women of the Scientific Production Enterprise RK Atameken.
“53% of the country is women who lead 60% of small and medium businesses. Of these, 9% of women run industrial enterprises. In Pavlodar this indicator is more. The region can act as a test platform in terms of the development of women's entrepreneurship in industry. It is this segment that needs to be developed in the women's business, ”said Lazzat Ramazanova
Female business is getting more and more development in Pavlodar region and the numbers speak for themselves. In 2018 alone, in the region, 113 projects of women's entrepreneurship were launched, worth more than 322.9 million tenge. These are projects in services, education, animal husbandry and bakery production.
Akim of Pavlodar region Bulat Bakauov took part in the Forum. He stated that he was ready to provide ongoing support for the development of women's business.
“The President always pays special attention to gender policy. If in our area there are 43 thousand business entities, then 50% of them are women. We all know that in the difficult nineties, women were the first to go into business and raise the country's economy. The Republic does a lot to support entrepreneurship, the Chamber of Entrepreneurs and the Council of Business Women are actively working, ”said Bulat Bakauov
According to the chairman of the regional Council of Business Women Rayhangul Satabaeva, measures of support from the state are of great importance in the development of female entrepreneurship. Free training courses that take place in the Chamber of Entrepreneurs: “Business Advisor”, “Business Growth”, “Bastau”, in which they learned the basics of business and improved their skills over three thousand women, are a good help.
“The Council of Business Women has become a single platform for a business woman of Kazakhstan. We have a real opportunity to track how rapidly the participation of women in the development of the economy and the solution of social issues of the state has increased, ”said Raikhangul Satabaeva.
The forum also held an exhibition of products and products that Pavlodar women produce. The works of both beginner businesswomen and experienced business women were presented.

At the end of the Forum, diplomas and letters of appreciation were given to entrepreneurs for their active contribution to the development of women's business.
