Kazakhstani businessmen invited for traineeships at enterprises in Germany, Japan and Russia

The Kazakhstani Center for Educational Programs "Economics and Management" has invited the business community to have traineeships to improve the production management as well as automate and digitize throughout the product life cycle.

1. The traineeship will improve productivity and usage of the principles of lean technology. There is an enterprise with continuous production and cycle: Leader's experience (TechnoNicol Corporation).

During the internship the 10-year experience of the corporation will be reviewed to study the maximum effect in achieving these results:

- Lean manufacturing is not a cost reduction, not a saving, but an analysis and a consistent reduction of losses.

- Alignment of production, planning in a turbulent market.

- Mapping the value stream: an actual state map — identifying losses — a map of the future / desired state of the value stream (shipment — production — raw materials, materials, equipment); result for 1 year.

- Quick changeover.

- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): SOP submission requirements, SOP map examples.

- Workspace management - 5C.

- Continuous improvements: two levels of improvements; work with proposals, decision-making mechanism; employee involvement; project office.

- Optimization of personnel processes - growth of labor productivity.

- General principles: the three most important things to be competitive - high quality products, low cost of its manufacturing, high labor productivity; follow the leader; invest in development and in client; "pilots" and more. The traineeship will be hosted key employees of the company that are responsible for the development of the production system and the introduction of lean production.

The internship will take place in Ryazan on March 14-15.

2. Experience in the development of Industry 4.0 (digital production) in Germany.

Participation in the traineeship will allow you to get acquainted with global trends within the 4th industrial revolution (Industry 4.0): production (Smart Manufacturing), new business models that are effective for the high-tech industry, digital “smart” factories of the future.

The program includes such issues as:

- Digitalization and network integration.

- Accessibility and transparency of data.

- Automation and increased autonomy.

- New technologies of human-machine interaction

Under the traineeship it is planned to visit enterprises of different scale and industries to present the capabilities of Industry 4.0 for manufacturing different profiles and types of production organization: Siemens, Bosch, Festo, Kuka, Mercedes, Tebis and others.

The traineeship will be in Germany on March 24-30.

3. Experience of KamAZ enterprises in the development of the production system and introduction of lean manufacturing. It is planned to visit KamAZ production sites

The key topics of the traineeship:

- SFM operational management system. The key tools of standardized work that meets the needs of the consumer with the least possible amount of losses.

- “Built-in quality” at KamAZ - a comprehensive approach to quality.

- Lean manufacturing tools in the office, mapping office processes, tracking system of issues in the office.

- Keeping all equipment in top working condition to avoid breakdowns - Total Productive Maintenance and quick changeover principles - SMED at KamAZ. Calculation of the equipment effectiveness.

- Methods of teaching staff to handle equipment using lean manufacturing technologies

It is planned to visit the production sites: Press-frame plant (fuel tank section, welding section, leveling conveyor, logistic zone of the welding section), Engine Plant (CNC machine shop, gear manufacturing workshop for gearbox, assembly conveyor), Automobile assembly plant (warehouse, training and production class, the main assembly line), the training department of the Lean manufacturing “Factory of processes”.

The traineeship will be in Naberezhnye Chelny on April 9-10.

4. The introduction of lean manufacturing (advanced version) based on Toyota Engineering Corporation (TEC), a visit to Toyota production sites and suppliers.

The program was developed jointly by the staff of the Russian Foundation of Educational Programs "Economics and Management" and the leaders of Toyota Engineering Corporation.

Key traineeship Issues:

- Three components of the Toyota Management System: Toyota Development-Production-Sales System.

- The main process: the expansion of the company's potential by changing people and working space, visualization of goals, processes, resources, results, feedback.

- Design Development Management.

- Product quality management.

- Management of production costs.

- Supply chain management.

- Reducing the time of the production cycle, interaction with suppliers: ensuring quality and rhythm.

 The program involves a combination of theoretical and practical training. Practical training in the classroom includes the implementation of practical tasks, analysis of simulated and actual production situations. Upon completion of the course, students receive a final grade for the course and a personal certificate.

The traineeship will be in Tokyo and Nagoya on April 12-20.
