Atameken announces acceptance of applications to compete for Uly Dala Eli umbrella brand use
The Atameken has announced the beginning of accepting applications for the contest for the right to use Uly Dala Eli umbrella brand.
The main purpose of the contest is to stimulate and promote the domestic companies and their high-quality products under the Uly Dala Eli umbrella brand, and this trademark will help to scale up the country’s image in the international arena.
The Uly Dala Eli umbrella brand is awarded to the best domestic producers of Kazakhstan, promoting the brand of Kazakhstan in international markets.
Contestants must meet the following criteria:
•share of the company’s exports should be in the amount of at least 10 percent of the total production of one type of product;
•the proportion of local content in the production of goods, the provision of services (at least 30 percent);
•a company should have membership in international business communities;
•a company should have licenses, permits, patents;
•a company should have international awards, diplomas;
•a company should have experience in publishing non-financial reports on the social responsibility of business (responsible business);
•a company should have brand recognition, positive image of the company (portfolio).
A private entity can participate in the contest if:
•it has been operating in the market for at least three years;
•it is not under liquidation, not declared bankrupt;
•it provides valid information in the application;
•it provided members of the commission with the opportunity to inspect their enterprise (at the expense of the enterprise).
Applications are accepted until September 1, 2019
Competition Procedure:
Those wishing to take part in the competition must submit an application and materials (scanned), prepared in accordance with the Regulations to the email address ulydalaeli.kz@gmail.com before September 1, 2019
The Commission reviews applications and selects 12 applicants from the total number of applications.
The representatives of the Commission inspects the company (at their expense) to confirm the information provided in the application.
According to the results of the survey, the Commission identifies 6 applicants who entered the next stage of selection.
A list of 6 applicants is posted on the Atamekena website for online voting.
Three or fewer companies with the most votes receive the right to use the Uly Dala Eli umbrella brand.
The laureates of the contest in a solemn ceremony are awarded the emblem of the Uly Dala Eli umbrella brand and a diploma.
The right to use the Uly Dala Eli umbrella brand is granted for a period of 5 years for promotional purposes.
