Almaty businessmen discuss measures to improve Kazakhstani positions in Doing Business
More than 100 businessmen of Almaty took part in the meeting on explaining reforms aimed at improving the position of Kazakhstan in the Doing Business ranking.
During the event, organized by the Atameken NCE RK and relevant departments, the experts answered to questions of businessmen. Businessmen and representatives of authorized state agencies and the National Chamber discussed about the entrepreneurship development issues in an informal atmosphere.
Representatives of the Ministry of National Economy, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Industry and Information Development, Ministry of Finance, National Bank, as well as experts of Reformatiks LLC presented the reforms aimed at improving the position of Kazakhstan in the Doing Business ranking.
The experts explained the following indicators:
- Obtaining construction permits, connection to the power supply system;
- Opening enterprises, obtaining loans, protecting minority investors;
- Registration of property, enforcement of contracts;
- International trade, taxation,
- Insolvency resolution.
Remind that Kazakhstan ranked 28th in the World Bank's Doing Business.
State agencies and business initiate changes in legislation, ensure law enforcement practice and conduct explanatory work among businessmen to improve the rank of Kazakhstan in WB’s Doing Business.
The Atameken NCE is actively involved in this work: the Chamber together with the international experts works out recommendations, forms the consolidated position of the business community, organizes meetings and discussions and explains its members the reforms being carried out in the country.
