Entrepreneurs discuss business problem issues, benefit and interest rate at Project Office meeting
The experts have discussed the main problems of the entrepreneurs of Nur-Sultan, Almaty and Turkestan when they submit applications for participation in the Economy of Simple Things Development Program at the working meeting of the Project Office on the platform of the Atameken.
The first problem is collateral. Pulver Kazakhstan LLP, manufacturer of powder paint in Almaty, faced the above mentioned problem. According to production manager Daniyar Orazbekov, the company has a large warehouse with products worth 400 million tenge but the company does not have its own real estate.
Director of the Regional Chamber of entrepreneurs of the Turkestan Region Dinmukhamed Absattarov supported the entrepreneur.
“Unfortunately, this problem is also relevant for our region. We have to refuse to accept 18 projects due to inconsistencies with the collateral conditions. The entrepreneur either does not have collateral, or its amount does not make up 50 nper cent of the collateral,” Dinmukhamed Absattarov said.
Another problem is the lack of products in the list of general classification of economic activities. In Nur-Sultan Maminy vkusnyashki IP of Karakoz Bakirova produces manty from marbled beef, ravioli and dumplings.
“We cannot receive credit funds, since according to the general classification of economic activities 285, the program includes the production of frozen pizza and meat products, but there are no semi-finished products. For this reason, second-tier banks will reject our application,” the entrepreneur said.
The members of the Project Office explained, the program may change with regard to business proposals and they will consider inclusion of semi-finished products in the list of the general classification of economic activities.
Also, the business is concerned about the excessive requirements of the second-tier banks and the interest rate of the program. One of the proposals was to increase the threshold for financing working capital from 30 to 50 per cent.
Remind that, working meetings of the Project Office of the Economy of Simple Things take place daily on the platform of the Atameken. The problems of entrepreneurs participating in the Program are discussed via video conferencing.
At the same time, a meeting at the Project Office is held on a weekly basis under the chairmanship of Ablay Myrzakhmetov - Chairman of the Board of the Atameken NCE RK - and Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the RK Roman Sklyar. They discuss business issues and ways to solve them are with government agencies and other interested parties.
The first meeting of the Project Office was held on March 27.
The next meeting is scheduled for April 5th.
