Ilya Afanasiev’s photo exhibition to launch in Nur-Sultan
Dala Syry - Secrets of the Steppe exhibition by Kazakhstani photographer Ilya Afanasiev will be open in the capital on June 5. The event was organized by Atameken NCE RK and Eurasian Tourism Association.
The purpose of the exhibition is to motivate country’s residents to travel around Kazakhstan. Astana residents and guests of the city will be the first who can admire the beauty of Kazakhstan through the lens of Ilya Afanasiev.
Also, as part of the opening of the exhibition, the photographer will hold a master class on Travel Photography, during which he will share secrets of how to get bright and emotional shots in each trip.
You can see the work in the Wyndham Garden Astana hotel on June 5-10, and Keruen Trade & Entertainment Centre on June 11-17.
For reference: Ilya Afanasiev - an Almaty photographer, brand ambassador of Nikon Kazakhstan. He has been shooting landscapes since 2010. At the end of each trip he writes travel notes and photo reports.
Since 2013 Ilya began to develop photo projects related to female images. He is known as the author of the heading "Headshots".
In 2015, Ilya started shooting weddings, church weddings and other holidays. He headed the Photo Workshop project.
In 2017, he launched the @SevenRaysUniverse projects, @AlessandraDAVinci and #Actor PortfolioKazakhstan.
In 2018, thanks to the photo artist, @12StringsUniverse (12 strings) projects and the only Photography School for travelers in the world - Photo Workshop - started.
