Entrepreneurs invited to take part in a Trade and Economic Mission to Istanbul
As part of the development of bilateral cooperation from July 30 to August 1, Kazakhstani entrepreneurs are invited to participate in a Trade and Economic Mission to Istanbul.
Manufacturers of processed goods are invited to participate in the Trade and Economic Mission (the TEM). The purpose of the event is to develop trade relations between Kazakhstani and Turkish entrepreneurs, as well as to establish strong business ties between the countries.
The Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan covers the costs of the TEM within the framework of the event:
Rental of an equipped conference hall for a trade mission (coffee break and lunch on the day of the event);
Residence of Kazakhstani participants of the trade mission (not more than one person from the enterprise and only within the official terms of the trade mission);
Transfer of Kazakhstani participants in the host country.
Participants pay for a flight from Kazakhstan to the country of the TEM and back, consular fees for visas (if necessary), per diem, etc. themselves.
The event is organized by the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan jointly with the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey to the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), as well as the Council for Foreign Economic Relations of Turkey (DEIK).

Reference: According to official data, trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Turkey in 2018 amounted to 1.9 billion U.S. dollars (exports from Kazakhstan to Turkey amounted to USD1.242 billion, and imports - USD 655 million). (Exports from Kazakhstan to Turkey amounted to USD 1.242 billion and imports to USD 655 million). In January-April 2019, trade turnover amounted to USD 944 million. Exports from Kazakhstan to Turkey totaled USD 714 million, while imports totaled USD 230 million. It is estimated that this amount will increase to USD 230 million.
