Kazakhstan and Germany will continue to work together within the framework of the Business Connections project to train managerial personnel of small and medium-sized businesses.

On 4 July, Vice-Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yermek Alpysov and State Secretary of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy Dr. Ulrich Nussbaum signed a Joint Statement on Cooperation and Extension of the Programme until 2022.

"We are pleased to use the foreign trade facilitation toolkit to further strengthen bilateral trade and investment relations between Germany and Kazakhstan. Therefore, I am pleased that today I signed the Joint Statement on continuing cooperation within the framework of the Management Training Programme. I am convinced that the Programme will make a concrete contribution to the Kazakhstani government's task of diversifying and modernizing the economy," Ulrich Nussbaum said.

Remind that since 2004 Kazakhstan is the partner of the BMWi Programme on the preparation of administrative personnel. In the past time, 700 Kazakhstani managers have been trained in Germany.
