Atameken Support Center: Results of the first day
More than 45 people visited the Atameken Support Center on the first working day.
The capital's residents visit the centers with interest to get help, answers to questions and the opportunity to learn a new profession free of charge. The key tasks of the Atameken Support Center are to establish contacts with the unemployed population and provide employment.
People learn about the center by passing by or from employees who inform about such an opportunity in the markets during the day.
Two weeks ago, a consultant at the Ulzhan market Markhabat Balbekova was looking for a job herself, and now the woman works at the Atameken Support Center.
"I sought for a job for 4 months, then, I passed training and became a consultant. Now I inform the population that there are many programs, opportunities to open a business, get a grant or master a new and necessary profession and they will receive a scholarship during training. I walked around the market, I walked around the neighborhood, drove my car around the neighborhood. I wanted to reach out to the people and tell them about the programs. I tell them, and many people are happy that the training is free of charge," the woman said.
According to the centre's staff, there is a particular interest in the programmes on the part of vulnerable groups. People who have been released from prison, faced with illnesses and orphans are ready to learn new professions and find jobs.
Many people, who have passed the tests, are the future participants of the Bastau and Zhas Kasipker projects, they are ready to learn the basics of entrepreneurship and open their own business. So, Arlan Syzdykov has passed consultation, passed the test and soon he is going to start training on the Zhas Kasipker project.
