Atameken launches Single Procurement Window portal
The Single Procurement Window portal became available since August 1, 2019.
The new service of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs is designed to increase transparency and accessibility of the procurement market for all interested parties. The portal unites information from five key trading platforms of Kazakhstan: public procurement of the E-Finance Center JSC, a Eurasian electronic portal of NMH Baiterek JSC, NMH KazAgro JSC, NWF Samruk-Kazyna JSC, and Nadloc JSC.
All information from five sites is structured and presented in a user-friendly format.
Now everyone can see the procurement plans of all government agencies, subsoil users, national companies, development institutions and the agricultural sector of the country on one resource. It helps to estimate in advance the market of separate goods, works, and services, to prepare for participation in competitions.
Also, the services have been developed to notify entrepreneurs of new tenders for the purchase of goods for the convenience of users.
It is possible to select and evaluate future customers in advance and study their requirements for the purchased goods and services, having studied the documentation of previous tenders.
These and many other conveniences can be evaluated by registering on the Portal, which is located at eoz.kz.
One of the most important functions of the portal is the opportunity for all the participants in procurement to express their problems and complaints, make suggestions for improving the procurement procedures.
"Analyzing the procurement market, you understand that the majority of suppliers, once having gained a positive experience of participation in a particular site, remain there, ignoring the capabilities of others. We want to allow expanding the geography of supply to all participants and attract all those who want to make money on purchases. Today we have launched the first release of the portal, of course, it has its drawbacks and shortcomings, but it is only the first step of the resource, which will grow and develop. We believe that the Portal primarily belongs to its users, and our task is to improve and refine it according to their wishes. Therefore, we invite all interested entrepreneurs to express their suggestions and comments," Serikbek Yelshibekov, Director of the Market Monitoring and Expertise Center, said.
