More than two thousand Kazakhstanis applied Atameken Support Center during 1st week
Since the launch of the project, i.e. during the first week, the experts of the Atameken Support Center have consulted 2,300 people (in Almaty - 845 people, Shymkent - 314 people, Nur-Sultan - 1,141 people).
In Nur-Sultan 73 residents of the city are ready to study under the Bastau project, 55 young guys have been selected for the 2nd stream of the Zhas Kasipker project, 179 persons have expressed desire to receive a new profession on short-term courses, and 49 persons are offered employment.
In Almaty 18 persons will study under the Bastau project, 18 persons will study under the Zhas Kasipker project, 21 persons will have the short-term training, 25 persons are offered employment.
In Shymkent 74 young people have already been selected for the 2nd stream of the Zhas Kasipker project, 49 Shymkent residents are going to start their own business and become a participant of the Bastau project, 9 persons expressed their desire to get professional training during the short-term courses.
To identify the need for the necessary staff, the Atameken NCE RK is interviewing 75,000 employers with 5 or more employees. According to the data as of July 31, 2019, 11,577 enterprises have already been surveyed including 5,840 enterprises that are ready to consider unemployed candidates for a vacancy. The number of vacancies is 13,320. The Atameken Support Center started its pilot work in Nur-Sultan, Almaty, and Shymkent. A total of 30 such centers are planned to be established in the country: 12 centers in Almaty, 10 centers in Shymkent, 8 centers in Nur-Sultan. As of today, 10 mobile centers are already functioning across the country. In Nur-Sultan, four mobile centers have been launched, five centers in Almaty and one center in Shymkent.
Every mobile center provides employment assistance. If there is no suitable job, the applicant is offered to learn a new profession. A person can apply for the short-term training courses under the Enbek State Employment Programme, which are conducted on the basis of enterprises. The training lasts from one to six months and includes a scholarship and further employment.
Also, the consultants help applicants to take part in the Zhas Kasipker project, which is designed for unemployed and self-employed youth at the age from 18 to 29 years, wishing to learn the basics of entrepreneurship. The course lasts for one month, according to the results of which the participants are helped to develop a business plan, supported in getting financing and further assistance in doing business. The Atameken NCE RK launched 200 schools, including 60 schools in Nur-Sultan, Almaty, and Shymkent under the Zhas Kasipker project.
In addition, the applicants can participate in the Bastau project. Regardless of their age, self-employed and unemployed people will be able to get key business skills, apply for a microloan, open or expand their business within a month.
