Timur Kulibayev congratulates schoolchildren and students on Knowledge Day
Chairman of the Presidium of the Atameken NCE RK Timur Kulibayev has congratulated schoolchildren and students on Knowledge Day.
In the new academic year, Timur Kulibayev wished all schoolchildren and students success, determination and new achievements.
He reminded that since this year on the initiative of the Atameken NCE RK a new subject - Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship - has been introduced in senior classes of secondary schools, as well as in colleges and universities of the country. It will be held on an elective basis, that is, at the choice of students. It will be a good help in the professional orientation of graduates, develop their business and leadership skills.
"For many of you, the new course could be a springboard into the world of business. It will help you learn how to think outside the box and critically, make quick decisions, value team spirit and know the key foundations of entrepreneurship. You can do it all," Timur Kulibayev emphasized.
A distinctive feature of the new subject is that it will be taught in a playful form, and the basis for the lessons will be real business cases of Kazakhstani companies. It is equally important that leaders of domestic business - well-known and successful entrepreneurs from all regions of the country - will work with teachers as their counterparts.
"Businessmen will be the best motivators for you. They will share their success story, tell you how to overcome crises in business, and teach you how to understand the basic rules and laws of entrepreneurship. They will talk about how to start a business and where to invest, how to find new partners and why the best investments are employees, namely human capital. We are grateful to our businessmen for their active support of the Atameken initiative. They will make a practical contribution to the implementation of the new course," Timur Kulibayev said.
He stressed that the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs does not aim to make all graduates and students businessmen. Entrepreneurship is a universal skill.
"Each of you will build a career. No matter if you work in a company or start your business, you will have to explore new horizons. I am convinced that our "business captains", who were able to build their own business and bring benefit to the state, will talk about it in class," Chairman of the Presidium of the Atameken NCE RK said.
Timur Kulibayev also reminded that the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs with the support of the ALMEX - Astana Corporate Fund launched an educational online service "Atameken Academy", where everyone can learn the basics of entrepreneurship and bring their idea to the business plan.
