Kazakhstan to host World Energy Week in 2021
Abu Dhabi hosted the Executive Assembly of the World Energy Council.
Bolat Akchulakov, Director General of the Kazenergy Association, took part on behalf of the National Committee of the World Energy Council.
During the meeting, the candidates made presentations on the right to hold the World Energy Week in 2021. Following the results of the electronic voting, the WEC members supported the candidacy of the Republic of Kazakhstan by a majority vote.
The Kazakhstan Energy Week/XII Eurasian Forum, which is being held for the first time this year, is characterized by a broad global agenda, which attracts great attention from the international community.
It is planned that World Energy Week and Kazakhstan Energy Week/XIII Eurasian Forum Kazenergy will be held on a single platform in Nur-Sultan in 2021, which will allow to unite common goals and develop new mechanisms for further development of the world energy sector.
The broad program will include such landmark events as the World Energy Leaders' Summit, Energy Transition Summit, Future Energy Leaders' Summit, Energy Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan and others.
More than 350 specialists across the entire energy spectrum, including heads of industry ministries, heads of major international organizations and oil and gas corporations, representatives of global analytical centers, as well as respected experts in the energy and financial industries, will participate in the events.
