Nur-Sultan hosts presentation of best domestic products
The annual Best goods of Kazakhstan republican contest and exhibition organized by the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan takes place in the Korme exhibition center.
This year the exhibition is attended by 153 companies that presented products for industrial purposes, household goods for the population and foodstuffs. A huge range of bakery and confectionery products, dairy products, semi-finished products, textiles and clothing, building materials, medical products, cabinet furniture and much more.
Simultaneously with the contest-exhibition, the Uly Dala Eli Forum is held, which brought together domestic craftsmen, as well as foreign experts in the field of applied arts, representatives of embassies and chambers of entrepreneurs, domestic and foreign trade networks, and distributors.
At the plenary session of the forum, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar delivered a welcoming speech.
"I cordially welcome domestic craftsmen and craftsmen from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Spain, and New Zealand - masters of traditional ceramics, tanners and glass masters. Craftsmanship is an integral part of the national original culture and an important component of the tourism industry, which should be raised to a new level.
The exhibition of health tourism will give us a new impetus, as well as determine the right goals and strategy for the development of medical tourism in our country. Simultaneous holding of such significant events on one site will allow uniting efforts and give a synergetic effect. And with the right and systematic approach, it is possible to create a large number of new jobs, develop small business, export products outside the country," Deputy Prime Minister said.
In turn, Chairman of the Board of the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ablay Myrzakhmetov stressed the importance of cooperation between crafts and business for the development of the national economy and society.
"I would like to welcome forum participants, especially artisans. I am very glad that every year our forum and exhibitions are expanding. You have combined national craftsmanship and business - this is a very important aspect for the state. For all of us, domestic art and national traditions are close, and you, creating in a new format, have become a model for the future generation and have developed your own business," Ablay Myrzakhmetov addressed the participants.
The forum was also attended by the Vice-Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Amaniyaz Yerzhanov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of KazakhTourism JSC Yerkebulan Khasenov. Lazzat Ramazanova, Deputy Chairperson of the Management Board and Chairperson of the Business Women's Council of the Atameken NCE RK, moderated the event.
It should be noted that two exhibitions were organized within the framework of the Forum. One of them presented traditional products of artisans, and the second one gathered representatives of health and medical tourism in a separate block.
Within the framework of the exhibition of craftsmen, there were free masterclasses for the visitors of the exhibition. At the exhibition of tour operators engaged in health tours, are presented domestic sanatoriums and mud baths, resorts and recreational facilities on mineral springs, producers of mineral and table water, the best medical and rehabilitation centers and SPA, which introduce visitors to their products and services.
In addition to the plenary part, thematic panel sessions and educational blocks are planned for both days.
The speakers are Chairperson of the Union of Craftsmen of Kazakhstan Aizhan Bekkulova, Chairperson of the Business Women's Council of Mangistau region (Presentation of the Anyz tulga project ) Saule Salikhova, President of the National Resort Association of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayagul Kairgeldina, Chief Advisor of One Village One Product project by JICA in the Republic of Kyrgyzstan Akihisa Haraguchi, master of traditional ceramics from Uzbekistan Alisher Nazirov, Glass Casting Master from New Zealand Leila Walter, master tanner Margo Sembrero, a Spanish tanner, Representative of the World Bank’s Supplier Development Programme for Kazakhstan Development of supplier service in the Republic of Kazakhstan Giorgi Turdzeladze, etc.
On October 12, the capital's residents and guests of the city will be able to visit the exhibitions.
