Promotion of domestic goods in foreign markets: new conditions for exporters support
The Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan informs Kazakh exporters about the new conditions of partial reimbursement of expenses in the export of Kazakh production.
On October 28 the Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan officially published the order on making changes to the Rules of partial compensation of the costs of industrial and innovative activities to promote domestic processed goods.
The changes were made regarding the types of costs to be reimbursed, the limits of compensation for the declared amounts, the maximum amount of compensation for transportation costs, and requirements for documentation.
Thus, since October 29 of this year, in addition to the current 7 types of costs recoverable from the export of Kazakh goods, the following subtypes are subject to partial compensation:
1. Expenses for maintenance of branches;
2. Costs of carrying out procedures related to registration on electronic trading floors;
3. Costs of activities related to the procedures for the compliance of goods with the requirements established by technical regulations, standards, including organizational standards, or the terms of contracts or confirmation of the right to carry out activities to sell goods abroad.
The National Chamber of Commerce has repeatedly raised the issue of the need to review the approaches to the reimbursement of transport costs of exporting products due to the limitations initially laid down in the Rules.
Previously, exporters could only expect to be reimbursed for transport costs up to the border of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The arguments of the Chamber were taken into account by the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan and now up to 50% of transport costs for all subjects are reimbursed to the final destination.
In addition, transportation costs for transportation not only by road and rail but also for the delivery of goods by sea and air are accepted for reimbursement.
