Atameken presents BusinessGO, a one stop digital ecosystem for business automation
Kanat Sharlapayev, Chairman of the Presidium of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan «Atameken», met today with representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) at the Chamber. The meeting focused on current challenges facing SMEs and the presentation of BusinessGO, a new digital ecosystem offering a comprehensive, one-stop solution for business automation.
Entrepreneurs from across Kazakhstan participated in the meeting. SME representatives from Astana and 20 regions had the opportunity to explore the new platform, raise questions and put forward proposals on business support.
Opening the meeting, Kanat Sharlapayev emphasised that supporting micro, small and medium-sized enterprises remains one of Atameken’s priorities.
“What does Atameken do for businesses? We create tools that help entrepreneurs address practical, everyday challenges. BusinessGO was developed primarily for micro and small businesses. Our aim is to simplify entrepreneurs’ daily work, reduce the time and resources they spend on routine tasks and meet their core business needs in a single digital environment, rather than generate commercial returns. The less time entrepreneurs spend on routine processes, the more opportunities they have to grow their businesses,” said Kanat Sharlapayev.
The platform was presented against a backdrop of sustained growth in entrepreneurial activity in Kazakhstan. According to official figures, SMEs now account for 40.9% of the country’s GDP. The number of active businesses reached 2.9 million by the end of the first half of the year, an increase of 20.4%, or nearly 500,000 businesses, since the beginning of the year.
Business growth calls for new digital solutions
The growing number of businesses brings greater operational demands. More than 60% of SMEs operate in trade, services and agriculture, where efficiency depends directly on the speed of data processing, process automation and access to modern digital services.
In practice, entrepreneurs use several separate IT solutions every day. They pay separately for an online cash register, manage inventory in one system, handle product labelling in another and use additional services for marketing and loyalty programmes.
This fragmented approach increases operating costs. Businesses must purchase, integrate and maintain several services, navigate multiple user accounts and contact different technical support teams. As a result, substantial time and resources are spent on technical and organisational matters that could otherwise be devoted to business development.
BusinessGO was developed to address these challenges by bringing essential digital services together in one environment, enabling automated data exchange between them and providing a single point of contact for user support.
What the BusinessGO ecosystem includes
- OFD: fiscal data operator services.
- GreenKassa: a mobile online cash register system.
- GreenMag: real-time inventory and warehouse management.
- Amian Business: a platform for managing loyalty programmes, marketing campaigns and promotions.
- GreenScan: a service for verifying excise stamps and product identification codes.
- Taxpayer Passport: a tool for checking company information using a QR code.
- Tax Free: a service that automates VAT refund processing for foreign shoppers.
- Findex: an analytics system for monitoring and overseeing trading activity at markets and large shopping centres.
All services are integrated and operate as a single system. For example, sales data automatically triggers inventory deductions, updates analytics and helps generate personalised offers for customers. This reduces manual work, speeds up customer service and improves business management.
Signing up takes just a few minutes. Users log in to businessgo.kz with an electronic digital signature. The system then automatically retrieves their company details, leaving them to select the services they need and sign the agreement electronically.
Following the presentation, entrepreneurs asked about the platform’s practical use, the integration of government and commercial services, the next steps in business digitalisation and opportunities to expand the ecosystem’s functionality.
Participants also thanked Atameken for the open dialogue and the launch of BusinessGO. They noted that bringing essential digital services together in a single ecosystem would significantly reduce the administrative and financial burden on micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, while making modern digital tools more accessible to entrepreneurs across Kazakhstan.
