“SAGE Kazakhstan” will determine the best young businessmen
In Astana, with the support of NCE was held a national championship for the protection of business projects among school children
After the regional championships, 13 teams from 6 regions and the city of Astana were eligible to participate in the main competition. By the results of the national championship will be determined two winning project in the following areas - "Socially Responsible Business" and "Social Entrepreneurship". In August, the authors-winners will travel to Seoul to represent Kazakhstan at the international level.
"I hope this will become an annual national championship, and the next year children will come from all regions of Kazakhstan, who will present their projects and represent Kazakhstan at the world championship", - said the national coordinator of the project Zaure Uvalieva.
Deputy Chairman of NCE "Atameken" Nurzhan Altaev, in turn, gave to students some advice.
"At the moment not the best students achieve success in life with which teachers attach hopes; but those students who are able to adapt to the realities of the time, who think creatively", - said the deputy chairman of the Chamber.
Representative of business stated that this is the trend. To be self-employed - it means "not to depend on the employer, come to work at a time when you yourself want to".
"The ability to see opportunities and to make optimal use of the changes that are taking place, the spirit of enterprise, ambition and perseverance - they are necessary not only in business, but everywhere. As it was said by Charles Darwin: "Survive not the strongest species, nor the most intelligent, but the ones that best adapt to changes", - said Nurzhan Altaev.
Nurzhan Altaev said that the National Chamber of entrepreneurs is very interested in the willingness of young people to study entrepreneurship. "We are negotiating for one year with the Ministry of Education and Science the possibility of introduction in schools of a new subject the basic of entrepreneurship", - said deputy chairman of the Chamber.
International educational program “SAGE Kazakhstan” is coordinated by the Foundation to support youth entrepreneurship under the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan "Atameken", NCE is also a partner of the program.
SAGE – is a non-profit international educational program that teaches students to social entrepreneurship and socially responsible business, taking into account socio-economic, demographic, environmental and other trends. The organizer of the program was the California State University with the participation of many countries, including the US, UK, Canada, Brazil, China, the Philippines, Ukraine, Russia, South Korea, Nigeria, South Africa and others.
