Albert Rau: "We are closer to parity of the ruble against the tenge 4.5: 1"
Vice Minister on Investment and Development Albert Rau said that devaluation of tenge accelerated the achievement of parity of the ruble against the tenge 4.5: 1. At the same time, Albert Rau said that, first of all, he was following the pair "tenge-ruble", and explained why.
"I'm not so much worried about the dollar, as about the ratio of the ruble and tenge. In my opinion, this unhealthy balance between the national currencies of both countries may come to equilibrium, and business talks about this too, at least, at the level of 4.5 tenge per ruble. At the same time I want to note that the most comfortable ratio is 5-5.5 tenge per 1 ruble ", - said the deputy minister.
According to Albert Rau, "currency zigzags" in Kazakhstan, especially those that have been recorded yesterday, accelerate the parity of the ruble to tenge 4.5: 1.
"I think that today’s surge (a sharp drop in tenge, which was recorded yesterday on September 16, approaches us to that. This is the corridor, at which it’s worth to stay and to make the appropriate calculations", - added the vice-minister.
