NCE RK asks domestic exporters of tractor-mounted dozers not to stay away
The imposition of anti-dumping measures in respect of tractor-mounted dozers would be considered at the next meeting of the EEC Board.
At the initiative of the Russian manufacturers, from 2nd of July 2014 to 1st of October this year the Eurasian Economic Commission carried out anti-dumping investigation of imports of tractor-mounted dozers (code FEACN of EAEU 8429 11 0090) produced in China by the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union. The investigation established that the facts of dumped imports. By the results of the investigation it was proposed to introduce anti-dumping duties for a period of 5 years at a rate of 9.65% to 44.65%, depending on a manufacturer of tractor-mounted dozers.

This measure means that the importers when importing tractor-mounted dozers have to pay customs duty of 5% of the value of goods and anti-dumping duty at the rate of 9.65% to 44.65% of the value of the goods. Thus, the value of tractor-mounted dozers in Kazakhstan could grow by up to 50%.
The imposition of anti-dumping measures in respect of tractor-mounted dozers would be considered at the next meeting of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission. In the absence of cost-based observations and proposals of the parties, it is expected that the measure will be adopted.
In turn, the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken", together with public authorities, expresses concern about the negative impact of such a measure for consumers, NCE has repeatedly attempted to contact with domestic importers of tractor-mounted dozers, but so far there is no feedback.
