Aktobe residents are preparing for EXPO 2017
Entrepreneurs from the western region of the country will provide goods and services worth 10 billion tenge for "EXPO 2017"!
Memos worth 10 billion tenge signed JSC "NC Astana EXPO-2017" with the Akimat of Aktobe, West Kazakhstan, Mangistau and Atyrau regions.
The Chairman of the Board of JSC "National Company" Astana EXPO-2017"Akhmetzhan Yesimov paid a working visit to Aktobe today. The guest visited the exhibition, at which entrepreneurs of Aktobe, West Kazakhstan, Mangistau and Atyrau regions were able to demonstrate their full potential. Akhmetzhan Yesimov visited each pavilion and praised the possibility of companies that can supply their products to the main construction of the country and to provide services to its participants.
"Aktobe plant of fire-fighting equipment", "Ulan Kompaniyasy", "Composite rebar" and others presented their products at the exhibition. All these projects are accompanied by the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Aktobe region.
During the meeting, which was held after the exhibition, akim of the region Berdybek Saparbayev noted, that the region is actively working to prepare for EXPO-2017. In particular, Aktobe offers the Ministry of Energy 12 innovative projects for the national pavilion.
"The Head of State instructed to make maximum use of domestic products. In order to implement this request, we will sign a memorandum to increase Kazakh content in the construction of the Expo. Thanks to this work, the companies preserve orders, save jobs, develop domestic production", - said Akhmetzhan Yesimov, speaking to business representatives.
He also said that the Expo - is one of the government programs, and that today it is necessary to advocate the promotion of Expo not only abroad, but also in Kazakhstan.
The future business partnership with potential general contractors of EXPO was fixed in the memorandums of cooperation and specific contracts. Thus, there were concluded 8 contracts for the supply and 3 of the memorandum of cooperation with local producers in the amount of about 10 billion tenge, which will be implemented in 2016.
