A meat-processing complex opened in Aktobe region
As part of the national teleconference President Nursultan Nazarbayev gave a start to the opening of a new meat-processing complex in the town of Alga of Aktyubinsk region. The official launch was also attended by akim of the region Berdybek Saparbayev and Vice-Minister of Agriculture Gulmira Isayeva.
The construction project was implemented by a group of companies LLP "Aktepa" under the SPFIID-2. Total investment is more than 2 billion tenge plus own funds of "KazAgroFinance". In addition, the state built the infrastructure in the amount of 140 million tenge under the program "Business Road Map 2020".
The latest European technology will be applied at our production, which allows to fully automate the entire process of slaughtering and butchering.
"The production is aimed at meat cluster of fattening cattle to finished products. Within the program "Sybaga" by increase of the number of livestock and export of high-quality meat products, it is planned to satisfy the market demand in Kazakhstan and the border regions of Russia. And most importantly, to create new jobs for the local population", - said Akim of the region at the opening.
The new plant will employ 88 people. Construction of a meat processing complex, with the capacity of 7200 tonnes of beef per year , is the final part of a regional cluster.
"Meat-processing complex – is an example of realization of the program "Development of the export potential of the beef”, just as the whole regional cluster, which was created during 4 years", - said chairman of the board of ALE "Meat Union of Kazakhstan” Maksut Baktibaev.
Now there is a complete production cycle in the region. The cluster consists of: multiplying farm of 3 200 head of Angus, regional farmers, who breed the cattle, participants of the program "Sybaga", carrying out breeding of cattle and production of forage and the feedlot of LLP "Aktepa", having 11 000 heads.
The product range of Aktobe meat processing complex includes meat in quarters and halves, convenience food and minced meat in vacuums. All the waste is processed into extruded animal feed. The main bulk of the production will be produced for export, it is about 60% of the production. 100% domestic products are certified according to HACCP, Halal standards and meets the highest requirements.
Next year, manufacturers expect to supply products of the production cluster on the shelves of major Russian retail chains.
The company intends to sign memos with major Russian retail chains in more than 60 Russian cities, including Moscow and St. Petersburg. Currently, the manufacturers study demand at the border regions of Aktobe - Orenburg and Sverdlovsk regions.
