As it was noted by the Chairman of the Council of Businesswomen of NCE RK Lazzat Ramazanova, 2015 was declared by the head of the Presidium of NCE RK "Atameken" the year of the regions. "We worked fruitfully and today we can say that the main achievement of NCE for the year - is a regional map of development, which was presented to the Head of State and received a positive assessment. Our task as part of our target audience is to help women to start their own business. The doors of our organization are open to every woman who wants to learn how to do business, to gain knowledge, to promote any business further ", - she said.

Ramazanova stressed that women's entrepreneurship – is specific because in addition to financial support a woman needs inner strength to start a business. "Through our training, education she gets that confidence. They meet businesswomen, who have already achieved their goals, and came to share their experience, saying that  it is real, it is possible ", - added the head of the Council.

"Kazakhstan has a population of more than 17 million 500 thousand people, of whom 52% are women, able-bodied women - more than 4 million, today more than 1 million 440 thousand women are engaged in business, so our audience is huge, it's... a big field of work", - she stated.

Director of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Zhambyl region Karlygash Aralbekova, in turn, noted that women entrepreneurs "do not suffer gigantomania, they don’t chase the giant profits, as the male half of the business, so women's entrepreneurship is concentrated on small and medium businesses." Therefore, those state programs, which aimed at SME development, in proportion impact the development of women's entrepreneurship.

"In the Zhambyl region, there are about 65 thousand active SMEs, of which 34 thousand are companies headed by women. At the same time women entrepreneurs pay about 54% of revenues to the regional budget, they also account for 23% of the GDP of the region ", - she said.

In addition, Aralbekova told the story of an aspiring entrepreneur from the village of B. Momyshuly of Zhualin district of Zhambyl oblast Gulmira Asemova.

"Just before flying to Astana, I went to the opening of a new clothes design studio of a woman entrepreneur, who joined the Council of Business Women just 4 months ago. She could not get a loan for 3 years, and we were able to help her. If you saw how proud she was opening her clothes design studio yesterday, gathering her small team of 5 seamstresses. This woman is a mother-heroine, she has 7 children. And, in addition, to being a woman, she wants to be an entrepreneur! There are many cases of the kind in the region", - she said.

At the same time, according to Aralbekova, Gulmira Asemova keeps the  sewing machine, which her father gave her as a gift at the age of  five years, that’s is how old is her passion for this. She realized her childhood dream and she is in love with this job.

The coordinator of the project for the development of female entrepreneurship, "Umai" Diana Ratbekova also delivered a speech at the briefing. There has been launched an  application for IOS Android, which will allow passengers of trains to order and to get fresh good quality food during a stop at the station. "Thanks to this platform, we will develop small and medium business in the regions. We will put kiosks at the train stations, which sell local content products. The working title is Travel caffe, but it will be renamed in Kazakh. You can use it as of the middle of February in Astana, Almaty and Karaganda.
