What attracts Italians in Mangistau?
At the site of the regional Chamber of Entrepreneurs Italian businessmen was held a meeting with business circles of Mangistau
Deputy Director of RCE on Economic Affairs Aset Manov briefed the guests on the current situation and prospects of development of Mangistau’s economy, innovation potential, the preferences created in Kazakhstan for foreign business and investment. They separately focused on ongoing projects within SPFIID.
"We are confident that you will express an interest in cooperation with Mangistau partners and in opening of joint ventures", - he said, addressing to the Italian businessmen.
The delegation included - entrepreneurs working in the international market for over 20 years. Each of them represented such companies as “Scool IMPRENDO”, “LTMBUL lTD”, “AFN Engineering”, “Archenergy Group Esco Srl”. These are agriculture, agricultural equipment and products, maintenance in the field of architecture and environmentally friendly design. Italians also presented the work in the field of eco - sustainable development, renewable energy, waste treatment and production mechanisms. The potential investors intend to support Kazakhstan in preparation for “EXPO-2017”.
Antonio Maiello – is the director of the international school “IMPRENDO”: We offer Kazakhstani students education in Italy, as well as training of young specialists. They will be trained on the latest techniques and they can apply their skills here at home".
The technical manager of the company “AFN Engineering” Antonio Zerillo noted that the purpose of their visit is to get acquainted with the region, as well as to determine the prospects of cooperation between business circles of the Mangistau region and Italy.
"For us it is very important to hold these meetings, which promote bilateral cooperation. It is not easy to establish partnership right away, they need to study in detail the potential of the region. I think it would be appropriate to organize a trip of local businesses to our country. We have exchanged contact details, our meetings will continue, and I think the next time we will sit at the negotiating table, and will enter into specific business agreements ", - said the guest from Italy.
The guests receive full information about the economic potential and projects of Mangistau region, which could be of interest to them.
The local businessmen, which attended the meeting said that they highly appreciate the achievements and experience of Italy in many sectors, especially agriculture, light industry, construction, energy and mining sector.
However, the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Mangistau region called on Italian businessmen to take an active part in the “EXPO-2017”.
