Turkish investors arrived in Pavlodar region in search of business partners and met with businessmen in the region
The meeting was held at the Regional Chamber of Entrepreneurs.
"Our region is an industrial region, in which there are metallurgical, petrochemical industry and the energy sector enterprises. The scope of agriculture, processing and food industry is actively developing. Currently, representatives of Turkish business successfully operate in the region. There was opened a number of joint ventures. We are interested in further strengthening and development of business relations with Turkish companies", - said the deputy director of RCE Serik Baiseitov.
Turkish businessmen stressed in turn that they are interested in further processing of the Pavlodar aluminum, LLP "Company Petrochem LTD" noted the attractiveness of working conditions of SEZ "Pavlodar". They also expressed their willingness to consider other interesting projects.
"We arrived in Kazakhstan to consider investment opportunities in promising production areas and opening of representative offices on the territory of your country. Stability in the region is important for us. Kazakhstan is attractive by the fact that under the EAEU, the opportunities for expansion of all-round development of business with the member states of the Union. We hope for fruitful work and the development of bilateral economic relations between our countries", - stressed the head of the Turkish delegation, Mustafa Bashkurt.
In the B2B format, the businesses presented their companies, options and forms of mutually beneficial cooperation.
It should be noted, Turkey is one of the major trading partners of the Pavlodar region in Asia. The share of Turkey's total trade volume in the region was 5.1% in 2015.
The volume of trade was 136.7 million US dollars, including export - 124.5 million US dollars, import -.... 12.2 million US dollars (2014 - 112.9 million USD, including export - 93.5 million dollars, imports of 19.4 million USD)....
Exports increased by 33% due to increased deliveries of non-alloyed aluminum (2014 - 87.2 million USD, 2015 - 121.2 million USD).
Pavlodar region supplies to Turkey polypropylene. During 2015 deliveries amounted to 3 million USD (2014 - 5.5 million USD).... Last year the SEZ "Pavlodar" attracted new participants, including foreign investments. LLP “ASK-Technik” - manufacture of agrochemical products (pesticides), the participation share of Kazakhstan is 52%, Turkey - 49%. LLP "VESNET" cooperates with Turkish companies for the purchase of spare parts for communication equipment.
