Experts of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Pavlodar region helped to save more than 3 million tenge to an entrepreneur
Republican Public Association "Kazakhstani Authors' Society" accused individual entrepreneur Samedov N.K. in illegal use of works of local and foreign authors, without entering into the relevant license agreements.
They filed a lawsuit in court to recover from the individual entrepreneur a compensation in the amount of 3,567,000 tenge. However, a lawsuit was filed in violation of the terms stipulated by the law. This is what the experts of RCE were able to prove, freeing an entrepreneur from payment of compensation.
"We were able to prove in court that the plaintiff failed to exercise timely the right to put charges on the entrepreneur. Kazakhstani copyright society missed the deadline for application to the court. We have presented compelling evidence, and thus, the entrepreneur was released from fulfilling the requirements", - said the expert of RCE Alisher Kandybaev.
