Manufacturers of oilseeds unite
The Regional Chamber of Entrepreneurs intends to establish a cooperative of oilseed producers
This was announced during a meeting of the Chairman of the Union of Farmers of Kazakhstan Auezkhan Darinov, the Director of the Department of Agribusiness and Food Industry NCE RK "Atameken" Rustem Kurmanova with local agricultural producers.
Farmers almost from all districts of the region were able to attend the meeting, which was held in the online regime.
"Within the framework of the program "100 APC” with the assistance of "Atameken" were created 50 agricultural cooperatives. There are great prospects and opportunities for the participants of agricultural cooperatives today. The Chamber supports all the projects, from the idea to the final result", - said Rustem Kurmanov.
According to him, the amalgamation, in particular, of oilseed producers will give a number of advantages. As it is known, NCE signed a memorandum of cooperation with Chinese industrial company "Aytszyuy". It is planned to build a plant for deep processing of oil and cereal crops in the neighboring North-Kazakhstan region. Agricultural producers of Akmola are willing to contribute - to ensure regular supply of oil, especially that the Chinese company is willing to fund the creation of cooperatives.
"Entry to the Chinese market opens up great prospects. At present, a number of farmers have already expressed their desire to join a cooperative. At the moment the preparation of legal documents is on", - said the director of RCE Ualikhan Gabdullin.
The participants of the meeting discussed the issues of financing the spring field campaign, taxation, rational land use. In particular, farmers are interested in the mechanisms of investment subsidies, interest rates on loans, reduction of fuel prices, etc. Conditions for subsidies of herbicides were extensively discussed. Farmers are interested in subsidies that cover 50% of the cost of the purchase of herbicides, whether they are of domestic or foreign origin.
"We went to the region to study the attitude of farmers on the ground, we put down all voiced questions and suggestions", - summed up Auezkhan Darinov.
